Board and Binding HELP!?

Im buying some new gear and im stuck on 2 boards and 2 types of bindings. First the boards, 07 Liquid Force PS3 141 or 07 Hyperlite 139 3DS!? Which one do you like better? Im 6ft tall and 185 pounds. Now on to my binding issue. I cant decide on open toe vs closed toe. Im buying either the 07 Watson open toe or the 07 Shane closed toe.
PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR INPUT!!!

If I only had those two options I would go PS3 & Watson ot. Just my opinion.

The 3DS is SICK! i love it! I just got a new ronix setup so if youre looking i have a 3DS 139, im local, from minnesota as well so you wouldnt have to get it shipped. its a 2006, same shape as the 07, just different graphics. GREAT condition. Besides me trying to sneak in a sale though, i have had a lot of boards and BY FAR the 3DS has been my favorite. Explosive and very predictable pop, light, i ride it with no fins and tracks excellent with the small molded fins, very forgiving and super quick!

I would go shane closed toe. out of those 2 boards i would go ps3 but try the shane or the watson.

I really dig the closed toe. I was skeptical when i bought the 06 3DS boots, but i loved em. Bought the 07s for this year and their excellent. I dont know what particular boot your looking for, but i really dig the closed toe. Better for cold water, and i feel that it actually helps with your edging. Size it right and you wont have any issues with the whole "toe jamming" thing. 2 seasons in closed toe, i've never had anything remotely close to a toe jamming up in there. I see all positives from going with a closed toe. Have never ridden the PS3 before, rode the 3DS once, thought it was a nice ride. All i know is that alot of people swear by that 3DS and theres a reason it was one of the best selling shapes for Hyperlite the last few years. hope this helped!

those boards are pretty different to compare since we dont know your riding style and the binding this is all preference.

if you are unsure of your riding style and you dont quite know what you want out of a board i would go with the ps3.

3DS with Shane Closed Toe. You'll love the Shane, and you can't go wrong with the 3DS

Im a wake2wake rider. Im looking to really step it up this year because I just bought my first wakeboard boat. Ive been riding behind random wakeboard boats for the past 2 years but mainly ive been behind •••••• old boats my whole life. I can do 180s and 360s wake to wake and pretty much every basic grab out there. I really want to get some inverts and bigger spins down. I really need to work on my toe side tricks as well.

Blended Rocker on the 3DS may help with consistancy.... Helps knowing what to expect comin into the wake. Going from teh Parks to the Premier helped me learn alot faster. Again, this is without riding the PS3.

What are you currently riding? I'd probably vote 3DS because I prefer the more locked in feel it has compared to the PS3. But if you like a looser board then I'd go with the PS3.

Screw it! I just found a 07 Shane 140 and had to buy it! I think im gonna buy the 07 Shane Limited Edition Closed Toe bindings to go with it.
