First 360's

Ok so my friend heard somewhere that when learning to do 360's you slow way down to 16 or 17 mph or something. So today was the first day i tried em and i can almost get em. The problem is i cant hold on the handle when i make the handle pass. My rotation is pretty good think, but can't seem to hold on to the handle. So anyone have any suggestions, please let me know. I have to get this down for wednesday when im in contest.

Sounds like your doing what everybody does when first learning this trick... You need to flatten out your edge at the wake to keep from building tension on the rope. You also need to pull the rope hard enough to get it to your hip (or behind you if you can) before you start turning your head/spining your upper body. Doing those will make the rope stay close to your body and in your hands. If you don't flatten your edge or pull the handle hard you will be too far away from the handle once you turn your body (which makes it tough to hang on without falling towards the boat, and hard to hang on in general since the handle is being ripped away from your body/hands).
