I am a female beginner still trying to learn fundamentals but I would like something to progress on as well, that is easy to handle and easy all around for me to learn with. I am 5'7 and 140lbs as far as size goes...any suggestions for a board and bindings would be really great!

Thanks

As far as length: 132-136 area would be good.
Some boards to look at (check out the wakeworld boardguide)
HL Motive/Devine
LF Diva/Evo
GB Lexy
Jobe Lyman 136
O'brien Vixen/ Oasis
Blindside 5-0/ flower

You can never go wrong with a Gonzales 138 thats really a 136. It tracks really well and isnt too aggressive.

The older belmont/new motive/devine is the best beginner board in my opinion. It's very forgiving, consistent, and will allow you to grow.

Motive is awesome, it's great to learn on, and it won't ever hold you back, seen more people learn and land their first jumps and new tricks on this than any other board. Size wise, the 134 would be perfect for you.

I agree with the Motive series.

I agree... Motive. Learned first wake jumps, backroll, and tantrum on my 2001 Belmont (now the Motive shape).
