Anyone out there know a little something about a 91 mastercraft maristar. I have never owned an inboard before always an I/O. Is this going to throw me a sizeable wake? It is a great deal. This boat has the 351. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mine's an '89 with a 454, if weighted it'll throw an OK wake...it's a bit wide

The tower's a BigAir H20 - not bad for the price - $1600 w/ two racks to my door...if you replace the fastpins with bolts, the rattling people talk about goes away...

I have 2 700 lb. sacs in the trunk and 2 600 lb sacs in the ski locker...for surfing we're going to try another 600 lb sac just on the one side giving us about 1300 lbs on the starboard aft "corner"

Remember now, this boat is nearly 25'!

Wow there is that much room in the trunk. I am used to having to charge the wake, coming from the I/O so a wide wake may be just right. Is the wake beefy? The deal I am looking at is the boat, trailer, and lift w/canopy for 13500? Is this worth it? I am also looking at a 89 and 90 supra sunsports? I have only ridden behind a 93 sunsport and a launch from 01,02 and 03 all of which were v drives. I've been looking for a new ride for 6 months or so now and its gettin old fast.

If I had to do it again I'd get something a bit easier on gas like a PS205V...or a Nautique

Other than that you wouldn't change a thing?
