Anybody out there located near Fort Worth, Texas? My wife and I have only had our boat out on the Brazos River. I don't know any other lakes that are decent for wakeboarding nearby. Any suggestions/experiences you would like to share would be greatly appreciated. Seems like every body of water around here is flooded.

If you have been to the Brazos you have been on some of the best water in Texas.

I was in the DFW area this time last year and every body of water was d@mn near dry as a bone! Amazing what a little weather can do.

Yeah we've been getting like torrential rain for the last 2 weeks in San Antonio. I go to Canyon Lake, I hear lakes Placid,Dunlap, and Seguin are really nice.

Texas Mastercraft's private lake in Ft. Worth is where they had the Pro Tour at the beginning of June. www.wakeboardinglessons.com.

I agree the Brazos has the best water, but you should see some of the pics of our camps. They are completely under water. I saw a camper trapped under Kimball Bend bridge last time I was there. Hopefully the weather clears up along with the river.
