Interior Designer Bay Area

Looking for an interior designer in the bay area. Specifically the east bay. We bought a new home and are looking to start furnishing it. My wife had found some online but they didn't work out (too far to travel). Anyway if anyone knows of a good one they have worked with let me know. Our style is a little out there (look at pics in my profile of our vacation house) so we need someone that can have fun with the project. Thanks, Mike

Mike... My mom has a degree in interior design. She owns a catering company now and doesn't do as much design as she used to, but has had clients fly her all over the place to do their homes. She recently did my brothers house, which turned out amazing. She's great at finding high end desinger stuff at decent price. She's also amazing with color. I'm no designer, so it's like an art to me. If you're interested, let me know. I'll put her in contact with you. I'd imagine she'd do it much less expensively than hiring a design firm.

I've got another contact in the city, too. Possibly more pricey, but I've seen her work and it's amazing also.
