The New Official Christmas Giveaway Thread

It's very sad that some of the users here on WW have abused the last thread and hence the thread was deleted. This thread is in the spirit of giving, not receiving. The following are the rules and I hope everyone here can get into the spirit of Christmas and Pay it Forward.

1. This kind of thread can deteriorate very quickly, so please only post if you have something to offer as a freebie, or are wanting to lay claim to an item. OT posts about the items, the persons offering the items, feedback about other transactions, or bumps are not allowed and will cause the thread to be locked without notice. We don't need the first two pages of the thread filled with a bunch of "this is a great idea" posts! We all know it's a great idea. Offer something as a freebie.

2. This is a wakeboarding site. The Wakeboard Classified Forum is for wake gear only. Items offered must be wake related per the Wakeboard Classified Forum Guidelines. Do not offer anything as a freebie that would not be allowed otherwise. No cars, computers, kidneys, etc.

3. Do not ask for something. Let's face it, it's rude and takes away from the spirit of the thread. Take your chances that it will eventually be offered by someone. And don't forget to read the first point...if you miss something that's offered, don't make one of those annoying post like "oh, shucky darn...I missed that one."

4. If you get something, you then must offer something in return. Nobody is going to check on you to make sure you've offered something in return; we will rely on the honor system that abounds on this board.

5. The person offering an item(s) gets to decide if shipping is included or not. Please note this in your post and be sure to include where you will or won't ship to.

I was looking through some boxes and found 6 or 7 of the old doubleup finger boards that you could buy at Kmart. They were modeled after these boards. i have like 4 fingerboards and 3 or 4 smaller keychain fingerboards. All are Doubleup.

I will offer up an old school O'Brien Phatty with Plush Pro bindings (Medium). It's not much, but it'll get a newbie with small feet started. The board is in great shape, but one of the bindings has a replacement overlay (it doesn't say "Plush Pro" on it).

I will pay shipping anywhere in CONUS. It'll have to be after the holidays, though. Or, if you want to pay shipping, I'll have it out in time for Xmas.

I can't watch Asterisk (wakeskate dvd) anymore, it gives me low self esteem when it comes to my wakeskate ability. I also have a few other misc dvd's I will throw in. If someone wants them, I will send them to you, I'll even cover shipping in U.S.

I will repost my offer from before of a Waterproof housing I made for myself and have enough parts to make a second if someone needs it , It only fits a small DV vid cam (inside diameter of tube is like 3 1/2 inches)

Mr. Solo.. I agree 100%!As many have stated,"This thread is in the spirit of giving, not receiving" If people wouldn't treat this like a swap meet, it could go into the holidayz and beyond.My son and I gave and it really felt good. Some young boy is going to learn how to enjoy the water from a wakeboard because a giving gift went to a deserving person. I would luv to see my son receive a pay it forward gesture for him giving up his stuff, but THAT IS NOT THE MESSAGE OR MEANING OF THIS STRING(is it?)!He understands and is feeling the holiday spirit like myself, and he knows if Santa's helpers don't find him a replacement, Dad will get him what he needs before next season (I luv being the hero LOL)and that's allright!.I hope everybody can get back into the feeling of giving and get past the swap meet attitude. I have a 500 lbs fat sac (waterbed type connnection) with no caps. It was plumbed into a ballast system in a prior boat. You pay shipping and it goes out quick. I pay shipping and it could take a few months.

OK gang, here are a couple items to give away, more to come...

1) FatSack bladder, this is the big sack, I think 500 pounds or so. It is about 5 feet in circumference and about 5 1/2 feet in length. The caps are missing, so it needs a couple of the standard water-bed style caps.

2) Indo board. Homemade to same specs as Indo Pro. Super heavy duty pipe that I scored as leftover from a $6000 sewer replacement recently. The board will be unfinished 3/4" plywood, should be good for anybody under about 200 pounds. If you're heavier, I can bond two layers together. Let me know. Can fabricate with "stops" on the ends to make it easier for beginners, or I can leave these off if you want to have the ability to do spins and shuv-its.

BTW, people might notice I've laid claim to multiple items, it's true but none of it is for me. My co-worker's husband rebuilt a motor on an older I/O and got it going, as they don't have lots of $ for a newer boat. They have a tube for the kids to ride, but the kids, especially their 13-year old son, is really wanting to learn to wakeboard. So I've been picking up various entry-level equipment via this thread in order to get them set-up to ride, then as part of the package I'll go out with them and give some lessons. Just wanted people who don't know me to understand that I'm not trying to be greedy, just want to do something nice for these kids. Happy Holidays!

i cant make it up to my lake house before christmas time, but i do have 2 new wakeboarding stickers that are 6" long. its not much, but better than nothing. they were from y2k wakeboarding. its of a guy doing a hoochie glide. they look a bit too small on my F250. i think i can afford the stamp
