Any local wakeboarders/wakesurfers ?

Thanks,

Mike, really? I'm interested in knowing what will be taking you to the Boise area. I have family up there. Because of that, I sort of follow the wakeboarding scene up there. I've been surprised but there IS a scene up there! Not huge but definitely active.

Wakesurfing is my passion. I have been known to ride year around at Lucky Peak and Black Canyon. I am waiting for my Dr.'s ok since I broke my ankle snow skiing and had surgery in Feb. I can't wait to surf again!

LOL... I am moving to Boise for love.

Met this incredible woman and long distance is not the best way to conduct a relationship. Boise is also pretty cool - 1/2 hour to the lakes or mountains. Pretty good deal imo,

I love wakesurfing and snowboarding.

Hey Dennis - what part of Idaho ? Do you ever make it up ?

There are quite a few lakes in the area and McCall.

How are things in San Diego ?

Sounds like a good reason to move. Let me know when you want to go wakesurfing.

I've given up on the weather! I plan to surf Lake Lowell tomorrow. I won't be able to ride a lot. This will be my first time since I broke my ankle in Jan. but I'm dying to go.

Thanks for the invite- Give me a week or two to get situated.

Sue, I hope your ankle heals up- they take a while depending on the injury ( I broke mine last year - it put a damper on the snowboarding season).

Btw, it is still raining there ?

Yeah Mike, I get up there now and then. Family members are nearby in Nampa. Son in law there loves wakeboarding but is no doubt rusty. Maybe I can send him your way for a pull?

I hope to get up there this summer and will look you up. You have the same tel#? If changed since our Powell trip, PM me.

All is well down here in San Diego. I've been mostly riding on the lower Colorado this past year. You probably know the spot. Killer location.

P.S, the LOYL is a cutie. Congrats and tell her hello from San Diego!

I have been in once at peak, but it was 55deg and cold. wetsuit wasn't doing much good and couldn't really get the boat dialed in. not enough peeps.

someday this crappy weather has got to turn warm...
did get the pontooner out on the water this saturday.. nice day for just floating around.

If anyone needs or can welcome a third, my son in law lives in nearby Nampa and is overdue for some board time.

Surfing at Lowell was great! It felt so gooood to be behind my boat again. Lake Lowell temps. were in the low to mid 60's. I rode Arrowrock Res. last Friday and it was awesome. Water temps were about the same as Lowell but no other boats around until late afternoon. Dennis your son is welcome to ride Lake Lowell with us. Just send me a PM.

couple of those going are new surfers so might be a slow day getting pulls tho
email if interested, as I don't get on here real regularly..
