That thing has been for sale for a long time. It will probably stay that way unless someone falls in love with that paint. A little too much for me, but it looks well done.

I was gonna say that Nacho!!! Ditto. It is over the top for me personally. Whats cool about the lake is being unique is not looked down on (in my opinion). maybe laughed at a little. But a common quote in my boat when we see something strange or P.O.S. out there "better than sitting at the dock". If one of my buddies had this boat I would gladly ride in it. But you would never see it in my garage.

I want to know what he was smoking when he came up with that scheme. Looks like it was some good stuff. Very good stuff.

Pretty crazy. Just gotta find the right guy who can pull that off. Maybe if it had a station wagon painted the same as a tow rig?

The purple interior seems like it would be hothothot in the summer too.

I like how the two sides are different. Very late '80s. I wonder if he did it to a new boat.

what's the asking price? If you can get into a restored 2001 with tower, new interior, replaced stringers even? for a deal then screw it man, go for it.

its all about price and condition.
i mean i have taken less than "perfect" chicks home from the bar and its still been a hell of a good time.

Wow didn't even notice the sides were different. I'd get some quotes on painting the hull and see if the seller would take that amount off the asking price. Since the interior is in great condition, maybe you could do a white hull w/ purple stripe to match?

hahaha, thats what i thought. Its a little much for me.
Thought I totally agree with Matt G statement!!!

Whoever installed the interior mounted the pylon backwards. The guy must never ski.

/the nitpicking continues.......

Actually the pylon itself is on correctly, as it bends slightly backwards. Its the ski eye on top that is wrong. Most people replace that ski eye anyways. I dont know how they did it on mine whoever owned it before me put a two inch trailer hitch ball on mine and it works perfect!

Actually the ski eye is on correctly, many tournament boats mounted them in that way.

The loop in the line is placed over the whole ring, and then the end is looped up over the "finger" through the ring from the front.
For tournament and speed skiing, this was a much safer way of connection.

I'm surprised at your age John, that you've never seen them mounted like that

You can barely make it out in this shot, but the finger in the eye points towards the stern.

^^Um... I believe that picture actually disproves your point (no offense). Perhaps different companies mounted them different ways, but I'm pretty sure CC always had the finger towards the bow. A better view:

Hideous. However it still is a 2001 so if the price is right get it and just ride with your eyes closed.

I believe Dan is right...and I think it points forward in Chris' picture as well..my 2c. I hate that damn thing (many thigh bruises), my buddies dad who taught me to single ski when I was a kid has had a 2001 since I can remember, and still has it!!! Original owner! They are really nice little boats. I pulled my first backroll behind his with no tower..back in the day.

All my boats had the post pointed toward the bow but maybe they came both ways. Having to loop the rope over the pylon ring to keep it on must be hard on the rope eye. I don't think my age has effected my memory yet but how would I remember if it did?

that guy got those colors so wrong, i'm surprised he didn't remove the pylon all together.

how about the tint halfway up the windshield, i guess to admire the green on the bow?

Get a nice sport coat and tee shirt that match, then roll the sleeves up and "kick a$$ and take names"

to each his own I think it stands out. If the price is right and you like to be seen go for it. Resale would be tough cuz of colors though

I say go for it...it's flashy, but it doesn't look that bad. The paint job looks professional and the colors blend together well. Plus for $6900 thats one clean older boat.
