Helium is still around as far as I know. A kid on my boat has this:

It looks sick and it's $100 off!

Jetpilot Chris O'shea vest. It fits exactly like a pullover vest but it has a front zip and a buckle so you can adjust it a little. best vest ever

Not to hi-jack your thread but I figured it was not worth making a post of my own regarding a similar request. I am looking for a new vest as well, but one that is CGA and under $100. Haven't paid much attention to the new gear out there so if any guys have some recommendations let me know. I currently have a Jet Pilot A-10, nice vest but I just don't want to deal with the state police if they happen to come over. A lot of times when I see them approaching while I am riding I just let go of the handle and act like I am fixing my board.

I was thinking about this LF Hinge: http://www.buywake.com/catalog/detail/211565

Have an O'Neil TNT vest and love it. It's longer than alot of other vests so if you're over 5'-7" it helps avoid the mid-drift issue

the new "stearns" deal threw me off I guess. Looks like im getting a new vest! now I just gotta decide...do I feel like a lumber jack, a business man, or just go with the classic and get another flak jacket.

Is the Hyperlite Franchise vest worth the money? Seems a little expensive for a vest.

Does the Hyperlite Franchise or the Jd Webb vest run small or big at all?

I don't know about the JD but the Franchise a Large is for a 40-44 inch chest. Which fit like any other large I have worn.

Any good vests for a tall guy? I am 6ft 1in and have a CG helium. That damn thing gets so heavy. Would like to have the option of a non CG that will protect rib shots but be somewhat comfortable to wear when I am not going hard.
