I can throw in the rope, now what?

I bought a HL Broadcast and I've been out on it 3 times now. I feel like I have pretty good handle on surfing without the rope. I can throw it in almost immediately after getting up, ride up and down the wake, near and away from the boat, and even ride up to the swim platform and get back in the boat. What's next? I'm having fun now, but I know there is more to it than this.

Is my board choice going to limit what I can do? Will I need to remove the large center fin to be able to spin the board?

Board choice will limit, yes. You want to get a board that is not just a beginner board. You want to stay away from most of the big manufacturer boards like hyperlite, cwb, etc.

Walker Project Bullet is intermediate to advanced, Comp X is more intermediate, and a good board.

Inland surfer sweet spot is nice, or blue lake for more mellow and larger weight riders.

SMED wombat is a very good intermediate board.

There are many others.
