Kent ~~ I'm so stoked on the new product for 2010, and can't wait to get this on the water! Nothing is solid yet but we might be looking to get out Sunday if you want to make a drive down.

Beautiful day for Willard! I spent all day cleaning / waxing the false idol. Hoping to get some batteries and get her wet tomarrow. I did see some boats out there giving pulls, I was thinking you guys would be out.

What a great day on the water, well except all the rollers. I can say damn that lake was super busy and the tubers were already out. Well having almost 3K in Davids SANTE is a tad much for my liking. With that much weight the wake is out of control with one hell of a buck! We went back to stock for the second set and I felt so much better but really niticed how hard I had to work to get everything down. I'm willing to bet in the future you might see a ballast upgrade in Davids SANTE to hold a little more weight without having to fill a bunch of sacks.

Chris & Jason ~~ You can already see your progression and both of you will have a sweet W2W (wake to wake) about ready to go down. From the looks of it the board you have might be a little loose for people learning to ride, that or the middle fin is out. Chris, watch the video and your handle position is still all wrong but you will get it in time. I had to LMFAO to a few of them wrecks, I'm glad I was 20 -22 when taking diggers like that! Great video and good to see ya'll there.

Glad your back Matt, no wonder why we had some Matt idas on the freeway when we blew a tire. I can tell you David and I have that **** down like we were in the pits of NASCAR. Good water don't wait for nobody, LOL!

Ok got a few up on DFTR of the wake... its from the camcorder so not great quality, but you get the idea. Nothing of inside the boat though, if thats what you were looking for.

Didnt get any pics of surfing off my phone but I was able to get these off the camera. I love getting the shots but a big risk taking them with the SLR. I was kicking myself for not having my wakeboard. I was on a time limit and trying to make sure everything was good for my Sand Hollow trip this weekend.

Drysuit >>>> Wetsuit ANY day of the week. Been off and on boats most of my life, and I must say. My Eagle Sports drysuit is prob THE BEST thing I have EVER purchased besides the actual boat itself! Drysuits are AWESOME!

Good luck on the purchase Kent! Post up some pics!

Well from seeing Matt's pics we have decided to check the bowl of butter and see if it can take care of us tomorrow. David is in the process of adding double the ballast in the SANTE and it's game on! Let's keep our toe's crossed to bring you some EPIC shots of crazy good water... Keep an eye out for 2010 Wakeology sessions and some flat water. Also should be first session for the little ones to kill it...

Josh I hope you guys get some good water! Watch for floating/missing fishermen

we've had a blast down here at Sand Hollow, I don't want to leave.

Dave I got my surf wave dialed in for goofy! Also I tried out a Dave/Shapiro Grindwater Ginsu model and it ROCKS!! Can you maybe get out Tuesday on Utah Lake during the day?? I'll see if we could squeeze ya in on Steves boat. (just more ballast right?). Also for you and Josh, I got a buddy that's interested in going out with you guys sometime (Brent ) super cool guy. He's got a Falcon with switchblade but he's game for fun.

Josh, The house is good. I get to wake up and stair at the lake every morning. I have a friend who lives in the HOA area of of saratoga. They have there own ramp on the south west side. I got a parking permitt for it all I have to do is drive across the street to get to it. No more fighting with the parking and retards at pellican bay.
Old     (downfortheride)      Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: SLC, UT 5600'       04-25-2010, 7:35 PM Reply
Matt ~~ We drove south today instead of North, not the best water but always a good time. Great little video that you posted, that surf wake looks legit.

Mike ~~ Right on, I have used that ramp before but I do have to say the crazy's are still there. I would rather use that one then Pelican though. Hope you guys get a ton of time on the water being able to see when it's time to hit butter sessions. I'm about 30 - 40 min from you, let me know if you ever need a third or anything.

David ~~ Thanks for getting my family on the water today, let's do it again and get the temps up a little. You know were going to find the best water when the season hit's full swing...

Josh ~ Pics from yesterday all pretty much suck, I'll comb through them in a bit and see if I can salvage a few in PS. C-dog had a blast yesterday as usual, but I doubt my wife will be back on the boat until the air temps hit the 90's.

Dave that was fun! We had a good time and some laughs. Looks like we got off the water in time I'd say. I still want that drysuit, but I got to work out some funding,,as you and Jared drove off we did too but with a major leak in my tire. Took 2 gas stations to fill up with air (was leaking out almost as fast as I could pump it) to make it to Les Shwabb. Anyways, 4 new tires later on the truck....$$$ how did that saying go for the meaning of B.O.A.T? Yah, that's what she said!

Well after spending 3 hours at Marine Products! Finally got a new board picked out. Went with the Ronix Viva 144cm with Slider fins with 09 Cell Boots. Board has more of a continuous rocker to get me more speed on the water and more control. Stocked to take it out! Hopefully the weather starts getting better!

Chris Also got a board yall might be a lil jealous of

Nice boards guys. I love my Ronix board. I have the next three days off if there is just a glimer of hope we can ride we should go I am up for just about anything. It would be a crime not to get those boards wet.

Jason & Chris ~~ Way to step up and get some gear that you can get used to. I would suggest to get some regular fins rather then the slider fins. I have never used slider fins but they do look wide and bulky. Heck session it and see how it feels!

Mr. Rogers ~~ David and I have been throwing out the idea of a early Monday session since it looks the best. I would have to drop my kids off at school at 8 ish and then meet with David. You have to see his wake since he upgraded the ballast almost 900 more pounds. I'm going to throw you a text too just in case your not slummin on WW like me all day.

David (DD) ~~ I know your DFTR!

This weather is really getting on my nerves!!!! Did anyone go to the super-cross at Rice Ecles? It was wet and muddy. Those dudes can rip off some pretty sick air.

Bleyl ~~ Sucks the family and I didn't make it this year. Really didn't feel like standing in the rain for the whole event! I'm sure it was super sick and exciting though.
