Hey all, I found pierce's photos of some of the surf events on this website. http://pierceyphotography.com/root/PierceyPhotogrphy/iphoto/main2.cfm

I think it shows wakeoutlaws goofy and regular enzo wake from the comp in texas. Great shots Pierce!

Man, some of those shots look like walls of water. Good find.

I'm putting all my worries behind me and getting that SV230 with the SB for sure.

uuummmm, Andrew...Those boats are of 240's without SB, just the Bennett TT.

Vince Piercy is a great photographer. He has some great shots of Alec Wood on WW, too. When he is taking pictures like that he told me that he hooks his foot in the cupholder so that he can lean out to get those wild angles.

Surfdad,
What boat or boats pulled the 2007 world wakesurfing championships? I love the pictures, makes me wish for sun, even though at the moment I need some deep deep powder!

Wakesurf addict! :-) I'm with you Duffy, we are snowboarding mostly, but when the sun pokes out I want to hit the lake.

My understanding was that the '07 WWSC was pulled by two 230's both with 'blades. One regular rotation and one reverse rotation for the darkside wake.

The WWSC website has some pictures, taken by Vince, here is a link to the activity on Saturday

Just a few pictures: the regular side boat, the darkside wake and then Todd Gaughan on the regular side wake. NOW...Todd is FAT as a HOG, so the wake is actually larger than it appears because of Todd's immense girth. :-)

Two more of my favorite pictures from the event. Chase on his way to open men's second place and James and his Superman. :-)

At Jeff Walker:

WakeDoc said the hulls are the same (in another thread), so you could presumably make the same wave with less weight with the 230. Just seeing how good the goofy wave can be sold me. The SB would just sweeten the deal.

Oh got it! I wasn't making the connection, I just read the other Enzo thread.

I think the BTT all the way down is the way he cleaned up the goofy wave, I don't think the same thing could be achieved with the switchblade. The folks over at pivotal designs admit this and said that an extended fixed or manual wakeplate might fix it or a hydraulic wakeplate and the switchblade installed. They didn't know how a switchblade and bennett tab could be installed though. Thanks wakeoutlaws! Your wrap looks sick!

Either way, these boats are sick. Definitely have some guys here pushing the limits with them too. Love the innovation that's being done.

Now I want to know how come all the people I meet are goofy? From your pics it looks like everyone is regular. Maybe Idaho's puts something in the water:-) Sick wave and sick boat!

Duffy - if you go to the link Doc posted above from the 2008 TWC series they are broken down by division and you can browse thru the regular and goofy riders. There were more regular for sure, but a good goofy turn out as well.

I know how you feel Duffy.

Everyone I've been riding with for snowboarding recently is goofy too. The numbers don't add up!
