LF Team 139

Alright, I'm taking a trip tomorrow to Spokane to ride for about 5 days, I ride a Premier 141, the only board I could find up there was a LF Team 139, I found a Substance at another shop but they wanted double the price for the same amount of days, not worth it. Anyways, I have no experience on this board and was looking for some advice on what to expect from the Team.

the team is described as a super trip... suppose to be fast, more pop than the trip... i heard good thing about the board, but have not been able to ride one yet

I would take the substance over the Team unless they had a cwb absolute lying around.

The Team is a continuous where as the substance is 3-Stage. The Team should be a faster board. It's all personal preference.

D-money - I ride the Team 139 and have spent a good deal of time on the Premier 140 (2003) in the past. I really like the Team 139. It has a continuous rocker and is a pretty fast board. It will not be to hard to transition over to it from the subtle 3-stage rocker of the Premier. It's a bit more consistent with a little less buck. Don't worry, you can still take it big. You might even like it better. I do.

my husband rode the premier 140 until he bought a team...i can't remember when he rode the premier last although he still likes it too...he says the team just has a better feel
I ride a belmont 131 and my husband rented a team board for me now I too am tempted to turn to the "Dark Side" I had a great time... you'll love it!!! Have Fun

Believe me I wanted to demo the demented but Lou Lou's only had a 136, thanks for the hook up with Lou Lou's, Gary over there was very cool. The wintersport people were a-holes and wanted twice the $ for the same amount of days.
