Well this is my first comp, ive ben riding for a while and am going to take a shot at it. Ive been doing as much as i can to get prepared and im getting some help with Josh Smith tommorow after school. Any helpful tips to be ready saturday?

Plan out your, write it down. Start out with a big trick that your dialed on (get the judges attention right off the dock). Most of all like Peter C said have fun... Good luck.

Your run will happen soo fast you'll be amazed. Take a few deep breaths on the starting dock and go for it.

Nick, the event is designed to have fun. You will find that the riders are very friendly and there to support each other. Don't stress.

The way the course is laid out, you can get about 5-6 tricks done in each direction. So, plan out 10-12 tricks without repeating (repeated tricks get half points). Also, leave the tricks that you're less consistent on to the ends of each pass. This way if you fall, you have the turn for the boat to pick you up and get back to speed.

Just have fun and meet some riders. See you there.

Adding to what Randy said throw your best stuff that you're marginal on at either the end of the first pass or at the end on your way back. If you fall in the middle of the pass you'll lose a trick or two just getting back up.

Its funny that we call them competitions, because the events are so laid back, and you are really only competing with yourself. Judging is subjective, so where you finish doesnt matter. Just try your best and have fun!

Its really more of an excuse to get together and cheer on your friends. Nobody really cares how good or bad anyone does.

Nick just go have fun and dont stress yourself out. Put together a run that you can throw and not have to think about and do it.

The San Joaquin Sheriffs department has forced us to cancel Saturday the 19th's event due to them delaying our re-permitting of our events. In response we have canceled the scheduled event and will re-schedule it for a later date but the remaining events will go on as planed. We will bring them bigger and better than we have in the past. We will ride on.
