nathan, runaway boats are nto uncommon fro that part of the coutnry ( austin) alto of people have their weekend/vacation homes their and the baots are in lifts. When the water rises that fast, if yrou boat isn't tied to something it will get knocked off adn go witht he current. FYI...they had up to 19 inches of rain in 24 hours.

I forgot about the heavy rain that just happened. My brother just moved there (Fortworth area)in Jan. of this year from CA and told me about the bad weather that has been happening in that area.

I assume it happened along the Lower Colorado river. We had heavy flooding from Marble Falls down past Austin this last week.

Tommy G... well said... I was thinking the same thing... After looking at that... I wouldnt buy a SC boat. If you cant hit a nice big double up without it self destructing... come on...

Where is the lifetime hull warranty. I hope this person is the original owner!
