Well my mom who is 59 years young, has a bum knee from way back was able to get up and surf for about 5 min (than she was tired and let go so she didn't even fall) Her dream has been to go surfing so wakesurfing was close enough for her. I hope they come back for another visit this summer so she can go again.

Just goes to show you that you are never too old to try something new.

Thats exactly why I think wakesurfing is so great just about everyone can enjoy it. I too have very bad knees and the thought of crashing while wakeboarding scared me to death. I can now enjoy the boat and water with the kids. props to your mom for trying and succeeding.
