WOW that picture of Tony is DOPE! and the light really got good for Brady's run!

Brady keeps calling Chris: "Mr. Mobe", after seeing all those shots you posted maybe he needs to rethink that!Upload

We were out there too. (In Walts 3rd pic sitting on top of the tower) Totally cool event.

It was cool to meet some faces, Kimmey and Teri from wakeworld were hanging on the boats right beside us. Saw J-rod and Kevin Mcguirk as they tied next to us. Lots of familiar faces were around.

Also HUGE thanks to Sean(sp) in the White Xstar next to us for towing us out of the way of the riders at the end of the day there. We had been breaking in a new motor earlier in the day and for some reason the fuel cell wouldn't purge out the air and it kept dying. But, we got it running down by the ferry again and were able to cruise back to the lazy M.

Also, Big Thanks to the friendly family who let my girlfriend hang with them until we had arrived. She came down from Sac and just met up with us at the event. YOU GUYS ROCK!

Wow. What awesome pics everyone took. Thanks everyone for coming out to ride. Amazing riding this year from everyone. To everyone who helped during the day THANK YOU!

Don't let the Sheriff see that huge Hoochie Glide with the 5 MPH sign in the background. I pleed the 5th.

I'll post final results on the web site later this week after I get some rest. www.deltahangtime.com.

Whats the ballast setup? It looked super slammed in the front
Old     (wakehype)      Join Date: Dec 2002       09-18-2006, 3:10 PM Reply
Well, there is some led up front as well as a water tank under the playpen. I will get exact weight details from Tony later on today when I go by his house to help him with his website. Cheers.

what is that trick called on the 5th pic down? that's one of the sweetest grabs I've ever seen. Looks like a 911 something.
Old     (dadthedriver)      Join Date: Jul 2004       09-18-2006, 4:42 PM Reply
As far as Ballast in our VLX we have the 4 stock ballast (2 back 1 center and 1 up front) 125 lbs of lead in the middle on both sides. 100 lbs of lead in the rear on each side and an additional 300 lbs of water up front. also running the the power wedge 7/8ths down to give the wake a nice lip.

Ben,

The Payton's had a great time with your family, the Hoffman's and Twelker family. It was awesome to be with so many good riders. The water was perfect and so was the company. By the way, your wake is HUGE it came up to Blakes waist.

Kevin McGuirk: That was the Hoffman girls throwing down yesterday in Victoria. Raequel was close on a off axis 7. She will get that trick real soon.

Great shots, man those guys can ride! Did the boats on the side take a beating with the huge wakes going by?

No the boats were tied up well in general. There was one indiv who could not get the hang of how to anchor a boat (and he was by himself which didnt help). It was quite funny to listen to Jason totally humiliate the guy. We tied off about 10 ft off the shore without any problems.
