More curl to wake

How do I adjust my wake to get more curl?

more weight in the back. If it gets too soft put a some weight in the front. It's hard to get a good rampy wake out of an i/o, it can be done, but it's harder than a inboard

I put a 500# sack on the floor in front of the seat and trim up as much as you can without cavatating. It gets a nice steep ramp to it

looks like you could lengthen your rope too. The wake is a bit steeper further back..

start w/ easy variables first...speed, rope legnth, and trim. then start moving around the weight

right now we do 21 mph with 650 lbs in ski locker and 350 lbs in the bow walk way and the motor trimmed up about 1/4.

My son likes the short length because the wake is higher up front but you're right the wake is steeper further back.

I guess I'll add weight to the back, just a bit concerned it my start to porpoise

With my i/o, the more weight I put in, the steeper it gets. I like it rampy, so I only use enough weight to be able to balance the boat. Could be hull design differences? But when it's just me and two more, I put 350 in the back of the boat. Wake is awesome for an i/o that way.

YOu say you put 350lbs in the back. Do you have any in the front at the same time?

What speed/length do you find is best?

i put just 450 pound fat sack in the back.

When it's just me and my son and my wife, I don't need to counterweight the front, it is a little slow to get going, but not bad. 65ft@ 22 mph. I'll post pics after next trip. (Tommorrow) Remember to trim just a bit too. Set up like this I trim about an eighth. When I weight the front I have to trim to a quarter or a little more, which causes more "bubbles" behind the boat.
