I will probably be staying near Shanty Creek Resort for a few days after Xmas. I am debating whether to ride Shanty or make the trek over to Boyne Mountain. How do their terrain parks compare? I would figure Boyne Mtn would have a bigger one, but what has everyone experienced. I still spend at least half my time outside the park, so that's equally important. Let me know what you guys think about these two places and whether you think Boyne Highlands is much better than Mtn and worth the drive.

The past 2 yrs Boyne Mtn's park wasn't all that spectacular. Went to Highlands last year for a day, seemed like a great place, better park, but half the mountain (the other stuff you want to do) closed early afternoon. This year I plan to go to Highlands an Knubs Knob

Nubs will consistently have the best park. They have the most rails and boxes, and some years set up a really legit kicker line along with a pipe. Boyne Mountain has been pretty crummy park-wise the last few years. Outside the park you can't go wrong with the mountain, though.
