I have the power wedge and bow ballast options. How do you guys set yours up for the best surf wake. We struggled with it this weekend and I know it can do better so help me out....
Thanks

I have same boat same year, we fill bow about half, full belly tank and either right or left rear. Wedge 4 clicks up from the bottom. Then we add a 550# sack vdrive compartment on the surf side and another 250on the seats as well. It kicks a great surf wake. but I have batteries and audio equipment that adds a few more pounds to the equation. I would start with the above and use people to shift weight back and forth as you gauge the wake changes. It's takes a few trips to dial it in perfect, we are 2 years later and still learning something new each time. Make sure you get the weight as far to the outside of the boat as you can.

Diggs,

A good friend has an 07 LSV. We can usually get a pretty decent wake going. I'll double check with him, but I think he dials it in like this:

Wedge: down, but a few clicks up.
Left Tank: full
Right Tank: empty
Center Tank: full
Bow tank: empty
400lb sack Left: full
400lb sack right: empty

He also has the biggest engine.. 8.1l I think.

If I recall correctly we have to run the speed slower, 8-10mph. Where-as my 21ft we have to kick it up 10-11. On my boat we can actually get too much weight on one side and ruin the wake, though I've never seen this happen with his 23ft.

Here you go,
everything full except the opposite side rear tank
750 in the surf side trunk
750 on the surf side seat
500 on the surf side bow
wedge full down
Here is what you get 07 23 LSV @ 11.8 MPH

Ringo,
Do you have one on the goffy side to?
Does it fill all the way up to the observers seat?

it is port side only and we rarely fill it all the way. it goes to about the base of the tower under observer seat and when you come off of plane it normally shoots all the cup holders out. on 07's the coolers are the big ones still so you cant really run one as easily on the stbd side. 08 coolers are smaller...... big let down imo
