As with any boat, bindings, wakeboard and vest you will have to try to find that out for yourself. Only you can decide what is "best" for you.

The Hyperlite Premier is tight, so is the Trip, and the Robby Stru from CWB is pretty sweet

my byerly dna has got some pretty tiight molded fins

I have both the byerly and the premier that I ride with only the molded fins. Loose but both are great if you like loose boards.
