If I hooked up 4 clarion interior speakers to a clarion M235 head unit and it starts cutting out alittle after half volume. Is it because need to run the speaker to a amp for more power. I have one sub and four tower speaker running of another amp. But before i hooked that up, the head unit was cutting out with just the interior speakers. Just so you know I used to have the the tower speakers and interior speakers running of an old amp that is going out. So this year I was adding a sub and was going to run the interior speakers of the deck.

Blair you may want to check the wire running from the battery to the head unit. If amp power is the issue the sound would be bad but the unit shouldn't cut out.

Thanks I'll try that. But it was cutting off the 4 interior speakers before I even tried hooking up the amp though.
