Just curious if anyone else has been pricing out the 05' X-Star with the L-18 engine? The quote should include the following options.. heater, shower, 4 tower lights(rear facing), 2 JL Audo tower speakers, transom remote, boat cover, bow cover & fiberglass deck. LETS HEAR YOUR QUOTES!!

Seriously, how many people on WW do you think are getting quotes on an 05 x-star with the exact options you are?

Again, boat prices seem to be an average of 3-7% higher each year. I saw this with both MC and Malibu when I was shopping for a new boat this year. I've heard prices can vary greatly depending on where in the country you live as well. mb

It’s hard to write this with all the side splitting comedy (thanks Wally)...but for 2005 the X-Star price increase was...zero.

I was hoping for an across the board 15% increase, I am sorry to hear that MC had nothing. I will continue to cross my fingers about the others.... E.J.

Wally, you forgot to tell him not to bring any lube along. They prefer it dry.

if there is no price increase i feel very sorry for the poor blinded disastercraft children that bought 2004 models, now their boats are worthless since 05's are the same price.

disastercraft? I have never had any major problems with any of my MC's. 89' Prostar 190, 00' X-Star, 00' 205V, 03' X-Star. Have you ever owned a boat wallyworld? In your 31 yrs experience, lets see you come to the table with something worth wild, except your normal, sarcasm. And Greg, ask Wally, Im sure hes knows.

Mark B was right and so was Zedz. Depending on the part of the country you are in determines what the price hike was. On the norm the 05 X-Star is $2000 more than the 04 but it could be a little more or less depending on what part of the country you are in. And the wallyworld situation is DUMB, the more anyone coments on what he writes the more he gets off thinking that he is cool. cdm I have also had no problems with any of the Mastercrafts that I have had, they are a great boat company!

What I posted in regards to 2005 pricing is what every dealer is given. If a dealer is charging more for 2005s over 2004s it is not because MasterCraft corporate increased the price; final pricing is as always at the discretion of the selling dealer.

zeds, did MSRP go up or did it stay the same? of course dealers decide what their margin is but if MSRP went up so did their dealer cost.
