wakeboard boats

I've been looking all summer for a boat around 15$, and finally it has come downt to 89 SN 2001, 92 sn sport, 89 MC prostar 190, 90 MC tristar was wondering what people thought about these boats and espically their wakes, and any other info.

First of all, I would not spend 15K on any of the boats you mentioned. 15K on a 16year old boat is a little high, but out of those, the SN will more than likly have the best wake.

at most 15, the acutual prices are 6 for the 2001, 10 for the sport, i also heard someone say that the old tristar is the x star hull and by far the best boat and wondered if anyone knew anything about its wake and the boat

correct me if i'm wrong, but the 205's from 97 on are the current x-2/x-1 hull, not the tristar. My dad got our '97 205 almost 6 years ago for about 18. I'm sure if you looked around hard enough you could find one for around 15 with tower and maybe some other stuff. Of the 3 boats you mentioned, Iwould go with the SN 2001 and save the other money for tower, sacs, and gas. They throw a really good wake and are a pretty solid boat. Good luck with it.

The 93 SN has the new aluminum and fiber glass stringer system still currently in use and throws a decent wake for a DD, weight it properly. You should be able to find one for 15 to 18K. Better choice IMO, but maybe not one you're looking at, yet.

The Tristar is not the same hull. Justin is correct exept that it started in '96.
