Trying to ship a board overseas and its outrageous! Anybody have any tips? What shipping companies are the best?

I always buy and get the stuff shipped by USPS, and have never ever had a problem. Shipping a board to Europe is aprox. 60$ and in ten days is here. It never pays customs, 'cause it goes to our national post offices, instead private companies. Private companies always pay customs, national post office, only if inspected.
