Amazing. I'd like to see him throw that off the kicker at odub. Seems like it would be easier than the double up.

Man, that landing...all back and no legs. Ouch.

The way he advances on the boat for his front flips. I don't think it would translate well to a kicker. I know it could/will be done, but it will look a lot different.

A true testament to Shapiro's greatness is that after more than a decade since a trick has been landed (and still only by him), it is mind-blowing. Could a trick that everyone (including myself) was sick of seeing him stomp week in and week out at the PWT win a double-up comp today. I really think it could.

Kind of confused because the video says Ronn Seidenglanz, not Darin Shapiro ??

Say what you like about Darin but that dude is a beast.....and you could spot him riding from a mile away. Rides like no one else.

All behind a direct drive, probably with no ballast (or at most minimal ballast by today's standards).

Hard to believe that at an early Double or Nothing Contest he was trying triples.

Watch the interview at the end. He looks like Leonard on Big Bang Theory.
