that thing doesn't look to sturdy man. I think it might need more reinforcement. Good Luck!!

I like how you left the cup holder for your beer. That's sweet!

Matt.... why not strap that to an old wakeboard instead? Or maybe that old pair of double skis, and mod them to fit the forks and the rear - kind of like the snowbikes they rent up in Tahoe.

Oh yea... beerholder is a must on that contraption!

she ain't pudry but she is very sturdy. I teach woodshop, there are about 30 screws and alot of big bolts holding it together! My students think I am the coolest.

You know you're not getting away without showing action shots - make it happen!

That thing is cool.

Where does the rope go? Oh, and you need to split the skis and have two sets like the two tires, so then when you get air, you can do some tricks....

good luck my friend, you may be onto something here....

I was wondering the same thing... how will you hold the handle and the stearing at the same time...
usage of foam on stem and top tube is a must, I have to admit... beer holder uh??? I should find a way to fit one on my board...
how about hitting sliders on that thing... THAT would get pretty scary...

There is a hole in the block of wood between the forks for the rope. We are going to put a release on a brake handle so if you fall the rope will release and not drag the bike around under water. I don't know about steering yet, we will see how leaning to steer works, I will keep you guys posted.

for the steering it might work if you just leaned

me and my buddies built a one of those but on an old wake board and to steer it we connected a surf fin to rails that were turned by the handle bars. that worked pretty well for steering with a combination of that and leaning
