Need board help?

I know, demo, demo, demo! I don't have the option to demo because there are no board shops in my area that allow demos let alone that carry current models. Anyway, I am currently riding a '07 Absolute Plat. We had a server go down at work and my boss asked if I would work through the weekend to bring it back. He laughed and said you can miss one weekend of wakeboarding right? I hesitated and he then said "I will buy you a new board if you work this weekend! They are around $200-300 right?" I said, "More like $500!" He said, "No problem! Send me the bill!" HELL YEA, I love my boss!

Here is my dilemma. I love the way my Absolute rides, but would like to try something different yet similar. I have just started trying inverts and spins but have yet to land one. Wake to wake hs, ts and 180s no problem. I love the locked in feeling of the absolute and don't like a loose board. Any suggestions? Should I just get a newer Absolute?

unless i am mystaken there were no new changes to the absolute so id get something different.

Never ridden it (the absolute or the suggestion i am bout to make), but the first thing that comes to my head is the transcend.

i mention this one because of the posts i have read from others, it is cwb (assuming your looking into CWB first of all), and i think it is the closest thing to your description for riding likes. put on the fin extension and it should track really well
