so i fractured my right hip and tore my right meniscus in my knee. due to this the doctor told me i can not wakeboard untill the end of summer. its just being strapped in to a board and falling and stuff. so i decided to pick up wakesurfing and i have some questions. what would be a good sized board for someone roughly 5 11 to 6 foot 145 to 150 area. any input would be greatly appreciated.

a little more info will narrow down the selection.

are you looking for a surf or skim style boad

what kind of boat will you be behind, your profile says a prostar which will produce a smaller wave so a bigger board 5' + would be a good idea.

are you the only one riding it

price range

price is not a problem right now. im looking for a skim style board and yes it is a prostar but we are running with a lot of weight in sacs. i will not be the only one riding it, but who ever does will be between the sizes above

I love my phase 5 and I'm about your size. Since you are riding a prostar maybe the bigger Drew board. You won't outgrow the thing. Maybe invest in a bigger fin for some more control until you are comfortable with it.

check out triple x. They have some sick skim style boards and they are very reasonably priced. :-)

Yep have to agree with ya there price is nice on the wallet and the boards have a nice ride on top of that. Both Skim and surf style. They also did custom graphics/paint on my board.
