I usually only go out with two other people in the boat; I was thinking of doing the old tire weight idea, where do you put the lead?
Do you put any in the back storage compartments?
I have one 500 lb fat sack also, would it be best to put the partially in the isle, or below the back seat?

here's how I have mine set up...... it's a team edition.
600 lbs of lead in the bow
all tanks full
two leadheadz in the cockpit for fine tuning
two leadheadz on top of rear ballast tanks
and some weights from a weightlifting set under the observers seat...
don't get carried away with putting weight in the back. you want the weight distributed approx 60% in the rear and 40% in front..... or 55% X 45%..... try to keep the same attitude loaded as it has unweighted....
