Which upgrade first?

I shoot with an older Canon xti.

I've been leaning hard to upgrading my current EF 100-300 zoom to a 70-200 2.8.

Which would you upgrade first, the body or the lens?

How old of a XTI? Like give us some specs, but id also say lens..... Ive been dying to get a 70-200 2.8 for my Nikon D90.

There is nothing wrong with the XTI. My wife uses that as her main camera with the 50mm 1.8 and it takes amazing pictures. Lens all the way!!!

I have the 70-200 2.8 IS and love it (but it is very damn heavy)

lens - oh yeah... I know where you can get a 70-200 f2.8 IS for cheap! ;-)
