I know I know, who gives a S**T, but I've got a little heater going, and was wondering who gets the "credit" for this quote? How many years does it go back? How many profiles on WW use this quote? I'm not baggin', I'm just tired of being told to "go home".......

I never heard it before my daughter said it at 6 years of age. Now she is 12. Thought she made it up. LOL.

The first way I heard it was "Go Phat or GO Home" and it came on a license plate frame from Jason Buffalow, circa 1998 or so. Of course I tend to be behind the curve.

Probably started by a motocross or skateboarder. I doubt it was started by a wakeboarder.

I would give Buffalow credit as well. He's the first guy I heard use it. I think he used to sign off all his emails with it.

Sounds more like a football speech or something there of. Probably a LOOONG time ago a coach was saying "leave it all on the field or just go home" and it evolved from that.

Said first by the Germans in 1904, they said "Go Big or Go Home", which of course in German means a whale's vagina. I'm sorry, I was trying to impress you. I don't know what who said it. I'll be honest, I don't think anyone knows who said it. Scholars maintain that those records were lost hundreds of years ago.

"It originated in China during the Ming dynasty and was a term used by Sumo Wrestlers!" There are no Sumo wrestlers in China, because they are in Japan, but anyway good point

the other day, I had a moment. Someone said to me that I crashed hard. I replied, "if you're not seein stars, you'll never be a star." go ahead, chew on that for a minute.

When I used to surf (like a million years ago) I remember seeing a surf theme bumper sticker that said "No guts, no glory." I know this is a little off point, but similar.

The first time I heard it was back in 1996 on one of the tour stops or X Games TV coverage. Can't remember which one though.

How about more recent ones. For crashes, who first said, "salad toss" or "raley to rapala"? Or who first said, "arms straight, knees bent"? "Grip it and rip it"?
