2001 X-star news, views, positives, negatives

Guys, I've been offered a 2001 X at a great price, but it does need a complete retrim - ex club boat with 1100hrs. I'm going to see the boat at the weekend but in the mentime I would like any feedback/experiences/problems people have had with this year of boat.

FYI, I own a too blue '98 X at the mo, which is in great condition, so I'll be doing a trade-in.

I have one. Never had any serious problems with it. The wake is great. The only thing that I don't like about the boat is the center piece of the sundeck has stitching in it that is ripping out. I talked to MC though, and they are going to replace it. Has anyone else had a problem with this area? Just wondering if it is going to be an ongoing problem.
