With the water being higher at all of the CA lakes its probably nothing to worry about, but seeing how my depth gauge is out thought I'd ask... Is there still a nice shallow spot near the Dark Day launch at Bullards?

thanks!

It's been a few weeks since we were there, but if anything I think the water is higher than a few weeks ago.... The water at dark day is almost to the top of the ramp. So you know how the ramp can go down and dogleg to the left, with the turnaround in the middle of the ramp? ALL of that is under water.

Dunno if that answers your question....

The hot weather we FINALLY got this week has lowered Bullards Bar about 8 feet from the tree line. Although it's nothing like it is later in the summer, you should be able to find some sandy shoreline...

I sure hope the debris is better than it was a few weeks back when i was there! Never got to really enjoy the lake between debris and wind all five days!
