In light of other threads that have been started I thought that we should maybe bring this thread back http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/421370.html now that it's warmer there may be more people from CT here and continuing where the other thread left off dose not look out of the question, so post up if your from CT and lets discuss ...

Wake genie I'm also in the Coventry lake area. Do you ride there alot?

The other places I'm at are Crystal lake and Rainbow resivor in CT, and then in Mass, lake garfield in the SW corner.

Lake Lillinonah in Brookfield. Someone on this site mentioned forming a wakeboard club on Candlewood a while back. Any interest?

What types of boats are you riding behind and what skill level are you?

I ride behind an i/o with a tower, small wake and very little power so ballast is not an option. I am a beginner/intermediate and will be working on 3s and backrolls this season.

I ride at conventry if it's a week day and lake congamond if it's a weekend, last year I spent more time at lake congamond

Hey Adam... I started the Candlewood boarders club idea. Did not gain much traction but now that it is warmer who knows.

My girls and I are always looking for other boarders to join us. We are on the Danbury Town Park side of Candlewood.

We have a MC X-15 and are very intermediate riders but have allot of fun!

wife and i primarily ride on lillinonah, but we trailer it, so we are on candlewood sometimes also.

I ride at Lillinonah and during the week I m closer to the CT river. So I launch out of Rocky Hill. If you are at either place I have the White Outback V. Stop and say hi.or if you need a pull give me a shout always looking for others.

I always wanted to try Candlewood, but I heard it's pretty crowded on weekends.

Slight threadjack, you CT guys should road-trip down to NJ on June 30th for Wakefest.
Go to www.njwakefest.com for info.

We'll have plenty of boats available for pulls, great giveaways and more. Sure to be a great day on the water.

Wake genie,

Your crew should definitely come down, no boat needed unless you want to bring it. Keep checking the website or the NJ riders thread on here for more details. (there are hotels within 2 miles of wakefest)

Adam, The water was 59 A little cold but in April it was 48 so it got better. The wind picked up Saturday for a little bit but we found some sweet spots. It's always calm by where the course is and by the big sand bar. going to try to get out there Saturday again Hoping for a little warmer water but like they say bad day on the water is better than a good day at work. Gonna need the dry suit for at least another month.

60 degrees is ok with a 3/2 wetsuit for me. Looks like it is going to be windy again this weekend. I am going to try to get out on Lilly on Saturday.

62 yesterday on Crystal lake. Little bit of wind but a nice first ride of the season. If this weather keeps up the lakes will be in the 70s in no time.

Just found out that the only reliable member of my crew is having lasik surgery and was told that he cannot ride for a year. That pretty much makes me available to be a third any weekend day (or weeknight) this summer. Where do you launch from Scott?
