Yo what up WW crew.

Now that boat show season is under-way or already past for many of us. I've been looking at possibly pulling the trigger on a new ride. Looking at something like below, or very similar. Whats your thoughts on price for an early to mid 2000's LSV with the given market and time of season. Anyone recently picked up something similar?

*not sure if owner of this boat is a ww'er, not meaning for it to be a call out

I saw that one on CL this morning too, I thought it was a great price if all was true. The photobucket pics all looked really good. I was looking in that price range last year and I would have definitely wanted to know more about that boat. I never really did see a deal like that, on or offseason around here (MN).

That boat is actually right by me. Probably 20 minutes or so from my house actually on the way to my lake house. If you get serious about this one and want another set of eyes to take a real look at it let me know. Easy for me to swing by and check it out!

Not sure about the market in that area, but seems a little high. I had an 02 VLX, but no perfect pass or wedge, 500 hours, had a lot of traffic on it, but there were 8 within a 100 mile radius at the time, so there were choices. I think the most expensive one was listed at 29k, but it sat there a long while after my boat was gone and others. this was a year ago

Beautiful ride and priced pretty well. You might be able to find something comperable just a little cheaper but not much, and I've been looking. I live in florida where you'd think there would be deals on every corner and that is about the pricing I have found on a Malibu, you might find an '03 SAN around 25K but that's about as low as I have found recently. I'm hoping to find an '02 SAN for 20-22K but no luck thus far.

I feel like I missed out on on an 05 SAN 210 here in MN that was advertised at 28.5k, sold fast. Even if it was in just average condition at that price.

Priced well? That thing is overpriced. I passed up on better deals last summer. For winter time, that thing is worth maybe 22k. Late spring more like 24k-25k.

That price seems pretty good to me. When I was looking last year I didn't see many wakesetters under $30k

I personally thought a boat in that range is a tad steep for this time of year, compared to some I "missed out" on I would have pulled the trigger on this @ 28k. I look at it in the sense there is a fine line between pay 30k for a 9 year old boat, versus 39-41 for something like a slightly used axis.

Go with a SAN for those years Malibu changed the hull in 2005, but those boats go for 36,000, so you can get a better wake going with the SAN for a cheaper price

For what it's worth, I picked up a 2003 mastercraft x-2 for a little less than that around this time last year. I was looking at early 2000s sans, wakesetters, and xstars/x2s. I thought a lot about used a22s, but that was a little more boat than I could fit in my garage. If used a20s had been available around $40k, I might have bought one.

Yeah that's a little bit expensive. You could probably get into an 04 for around 30, which is a redesigned boat.
