I'm about to put a HSE Revolution in my 2008 Sanger v215. Does anyone know if the analog RPM signal is at the back of the tach or if I need to get the tach signal generator?

Is the tach anolog or digital? If it's anolog, look for the grey wire.

I have an 06 and the HSE, its a digital signal that gets converted to analog. Neither myself nor my budy could figure it out and get it to work correctly without the tach signal generator. Works beatifully with it.

I just installed one in my 2010 Calabria which I believe has the same engine, (Black) Scorpion 350. Mine is the newer cat motor, so I don't know if that would make a difference or not on the wiring harness. But on my engine, looking at it from the rear seat, there is a gray wire near the back of the engine on the driver's side that is the tach signal wire, mine is actually labeled. It's on top between the exhaust and the cover, you just need to fish around for it.
