Being the complete moron that I am sometimes, I accidentally turned into my wake after a (gasp!) tuber fell (I know I know....but they were family and REALLY wanted to go tubing). After taking (literally) a boatload full of water over the windshield and making a nice kiddie pool of our bow, I found my stereo soaked, the cd changer almost completely under water, and the video camera bag soaked. (sigh). Hit the bilge, dry off the sony analog camcorder and idle back to shore. Stereo is dead, cd changer is making funny noises, etc. At the end of the day I drive the boat on the trailer back to the city without the cover to let it air out. When I get home I was about ready to pull the stereo and huck it when lo and behold, it's working! CD changer too! Camcorder is ok as well.

Man, talk about well built stuff. The sony stereo is at least 10 years old now. I thought for sure it was done for, especially the changer which was partially under water.

Trash

P.S no I don't work for Sony
