Ok I have a good friend who has recently not been able to consistently land a backroll. He seems to overrotating and landing really heavy on his rear leg. Any ideas on how to help the poor guy he wants to compete in an INT event soon.

Id say when he is finishing the rotation so his legs are almost back under him he should push the rope towards the flats at the end. It helps stop your rotation.

Seemed to work Dave he was able to land 2 out of 3 and then landed 3 more after I left.

Ewing,
You can also make sure he has even pressure on both his feet when he's edging towards the wake. If he's back foot heavy when leaving the wake, that's how he'll land which can cause an overotation.

Just jump as a normal W2W jump and wait a bit more before looking over your front shoulder.... keep your arm bent!!!
