The first time I saw that I was impressed but the wave just doesn't look that fun to me. Way too much work for a mushy wave.

That wave is not a mush burger there is a lot of push behind it .Check out this version http://www.surfline.com/video/webisodes/pororoca-a-trip-of-a-lifetime_16195 It's alot of work to ride , So is wakesurfing . This is the one of the biggest Tidal Bore's out there The one in China is bigger

I've seen that and I know it's got push, it just doesn't do it for me. To each their own but if I'm going to travel for a wave I want it to be exhilarating. I'd much rather go just about anywhere in Chile.

Wardo if you ever go to Chile contact Kris Cabezas he is from Chile & has a surfboard factory down there , He is down there now.
