I'm tired of always riding my friends boards and not getting used to my own so i decided to buy myself one...my friend is selling his old hyperlite byerly 2006 with state bindings but it is almost brand new....he barely ever used it...i rode it this year and it has been two years he didn't wakeboard..

just wanted to know if 300$ was a good price to buy off his board...it looks brand new

thanks for your advice!

Dan

Way too much. Shop around and look at some 09 closeouts. You can probably find a newer setup (I don't like those state bindings), for about the same price.

Yup too much. Myself, I would sell that for no more than 175-200.

Dan, at any rate, he's definitely not cutting you the "buddy" discount. You could get a way newer setup with far superior boots for less than 250. Easily.

no offense but he is not much of a friend. Not only is he not giving you a deal..he is trying to break it off in you. Look on ebay you can get a brand new set up for less. I just did it myself. 09 ronix 08 faction boots for less than 300.

Take a look at Evogear.com . I got a new set-up from there for around 300.

Check grizzly sports ebay shop find a board you like with a make and offer auction. They rock and will accept reasonable offers (even some unreasonable in my case). I was shocked they took mine and they were great to deal with.

I forgot about them, a friend of mine has had real good experience with them as well.

Dealt with Grizzly Sports a couple of months ago. Good experience and they try to keep the customers happy. Highly recommend.

X2 for Grizzly. I recently made a low ball offer on some boots, expecting a counter offer but they agreed to the sale. Also had quick shipping.

I will mirror with everyone above.

I just picked up a brand new 2009 Ronix Mana 134 with matching 2009 Ronix Kai boots (size 10) for $350 from evogear.com and the board/binding combo is incredible!
