I mean no disrespect to those of you who are working to perfect your rail-grab, wake-to-wake jump or 180's and absolutely have to have glassy water to pull things... nor do I mean any disrespect to those who just want to cruise behind the boat with no rope, so your hands will be free to hold that beer, but I'm really only interested in the opinions of those who have advanced beyond the basics at both sports, push the limits, and have opinions as to which is more challenging, which is more fun, and why. The previous thread I read and posted on turned into a pissing match, but it occured to me by looking at people's profiles that the strongest opinions came from people who had the least to back them up with.

Let's start over. If you know and love both sports, and have actually spent enough time at them to advanced beyond the basics, what are your thoughts on the challenges and fun factors of each?

i do both weekly and they both have so many positive things.

Wakesurfing:
1. be able to flow and take your agression out in a slash.
2. easy on my knees and i dont have to crash real hard to have fun.
3. learning spins etc with just the push of the wave is amazing and pulling off new tricks with your friends just feet away.

Wakeboarding:
1. going as big as i possibly can.
2. i can express myself by spinning some days, flipping others.
3. nothing like becoming creative by spending days just poking out your grabs.
4. when im mad at something i go as big as i possibly can and try new tricks.

But the one thing to me surfing cant offer is the rewards you get after alot of pain trying a new trick.
