Has anybody driven or ridden behind one? If so what did you think? Thanks

I drove an X45 at dealer days in Orlando. The boat is really big, the one we drove had a 8.1L big bock, 425 hp and lots of torque. The water was rough so it was hard to tell what the wake will look like. They have added a hydraulic plate in the back to keep the front down when your going fast or trying to ski. The wake was huge and long going 10mph for surfing.

Wakeplate? Hmmm...sounds familiar...

I was surprised to see the hyd plate on the boat? I want to see how much difference it makes. The Owner of Boat works in Louisville is getting a X45 as his personal demo boat this year. We should be out on it soon, I'll give you an update after we have riden behind it. Have you seen the new redesigned X30, should be out mid summer.

The redesigned X-30 is the only X-30 they're making now. It's the 2006 model and they are no longer making the 2005's. It's available now. Check it out in our new Boat Buyers Guide.

MC just released a product test to their dealers in which they tested a 45 against an x-star. The 45 "outperformed" the star in every category except wakeboard wake shape. handling was better, top speed was better. If you want to see for yourself, I will be at calero reservoir in san jose on thursday 2/10 with both boats. Unfortunately we have limited space so anyone who is interested in driving these boats should contact me immediately.

I saw that Darren. I actually sat and watched all the inboard review videos at waterskimag.com. Really good I thought.

Ant Bug, I know you are playing around.

I don't know, but I just want David to show some love Centurion.

Sorry bad grammar.
"to show some love to Centurion"

Lance, although we've gotten all the specs on the 2005 Centurion line, we're still waiting on boat images from them. I'm not sure why it's taking so long to get them. Unfortunately, they still have their 2004 stuff on their website, so we can't grab anything from there. Hopefully, we'll have it all in the next few days.

Re. '06 X30, I think it's ridiculous to offer an '06 product a month into '05. Marketing BS if you ask me. In fact, how is that legal? I don't think auto manufacturers can offer next year products until around August.

You can start buying 06 cars in May, but I see what you are saying. I would be pissed to buy a new car today that would be a year old in May.

Thanks for the response Dave. I knew there was a good reason. I wish they would hurry and get their new website up. They keep saying anyday now. It is supposed to be alot better than last years.

Never said this before but wanted you to know that I appreciate your commitment to bring us this forum. It is awesome. Thanks Again.

Thanks for the kind words. I wish it was easy to get this info from companies as well, but I'm always amazed at how hard it is to give away free publicity! :-)

July 1 starts the new model year for a keel laid date.

Karl, so they can start offering '07's in July '05? If what you say is correct, and MC isn't breaking the law.

I think Centurion needs to put a lot more effort into website/etc. It's the same thing we always heard as promo people, oh, next year will be better, yada, yada, yada... I still think Centurion has a quality product, but I think the company just needs to stay ahead of the game if they ever want to have a good rep.

I was under the impression that MC did no wrong anyway.

06 X30 is a body style change that is why they released it now as an 2006
