No that's not my house. That's some community down in Orlando that the dealer I bought the truck from takes all of his pics in front of.

See if I can find some pics of my bagged dually, and color matched Malibu. Sold them both this year. That set up was hard to top.

Here's my rig. 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4x4 with the 6.0L Vortec. I put a Kenne Bell supercharger on it for that "little" extra pulling power.

My old truck was a '96 Chevy Z-71. 15" wheels and 32x11.50 All Terrains. I put helper spring air bags on the back, so no sagging. It was a great rig. The 'new' one is an '01 Yukon 4x4, stock suspension, with 22x9.5 Milanni's and 305/45 rubber. Also, a good tow rig, but much more comfortable than the truck.

05 F-250 diesel - Donahue Racing 4.5" lift, Ice Metal 18" wheels, 35" Toyos 13-14 mpg highway, 11-12 mpg city, 8-9 towing LSV. If I were to do it all over, I would have bought the Cummings diesel. I have had nothing but problems with the Powerstroke.

cummins cannot be beat, I get about 12-15 pulling. 18 just driving around and my truck has about 95000. those fords suck, but they look good, I guess.

I have always been a Dodge guy, but cannot get into the looks of the new ones. I have countless numbers of people I know that have put a lot of miles, towing massive wieght with the fords, and not had a problem. I also know of one guy, who had the cummins, and had numerous problems. I know the Cummins is just suppose to be a bullet proof motor. My point is don't judge the truck on just one experience. Lemons get through on all the brands (ford, gm, dodge).

Your right Craig about all brands. I constantly tell myself that. I love the truck, but I dont trust it now. I worry about be stuck in the middle of the desert with my wife and daughter. It like having a bad meal at a restaurant, you will be more likely to try something different than go back for a second try. But in reality I will have to ask myself if I want another Ford once this truck gets about 100k on it. Time will tell.

Oh, I agree. If you are not confident, and your driving to some desert lake, not the place to wonder if you are going to make it. Myself, Im leaning towards getting the duramax in the Chevy 2500. Just havnt decided yet. Like I said, I've always been a Dodge fan, and have owned one of each of the major 3 ( and had good luck with all of them) but I just cant get use to the look of the Dodge (pluss there is more leg room in the back of the other two.) Dont think you can go wrong with any of the 3, but def sucks when you get a lemon.

My truck is a 2000 dodge Daota. It has on it a Performance acc. 3 inch body lift. Cold air intake, throttle body spacer, and a custom duel exhaust. the wheels are Baja's from AR and 33 inch BFG AT's. there is aslo the Westin brush/grill guard with four off road lights. two lights 150 watt ea and two others 55 watt each. I also have the MAAP ss nefr bars and a one of a kind bed cover that a friend made for me to color match the paint and tribal pinstipes. Left to add is a 3 inch rancho suspenion lift, mopar direct headers, and a hypertech programer. The mastercraft decal has been updated since the picture. It is hte new D1 MC by design Prostar graphic.

Hey Shoeish, I am going to put some tower speakers on my XLV but was concerened about the Bimini and the space for the speakers. How does that work out for you? When you put the bimini up are the cans in the way? What kind of speakers are you using? Thanks for the help! Oh it's a bad pic but the keep from hijacking the thread here we go. 04 Ram 1500 with the hemi (tows great). Only mods are bull bar on the front, NERF bars and Tonneau and Cap for the bed...

The Photos are a little old, but I have 20" Sport Metal Wheels and 50 series tires on the Expedition. The ride is better than when I had 22" wheels. Adjustable shocks and 1" lowered suspension really helps the handling and ride. Custom Billet Grill on the upper and lower grill intakes and a cold air induction helps breathing. I changed out to a Cat-back exhaust sytem that really helped. The only concern is it seems Ford sells about 3/4 of all Expeditions in White. (Message edited by flackpack on August 31, 2005)

Our '01 with the 7.3 Powerstroke was GREAT. Our '05 F-350 with the 6.0 Powerstroke has had nothing but problems, though, with only 15k miles on it. Injectors began misfiring and the engine overheated on I-5, about 300 miles from home. We said screw it, and kept on driving, truck is spewing over at the moment. WAJ. sulmax, don't lift the SUV. Some nice 22's or 24's at stock ride height are perfect, imo.

I tow mine (06 24V Tige`) with an '03 2500 HD crew short bed, Duramax diesel. In my own personal experience, there is nothing better than a Duramax. I have all three (Dodge, Ford, GM) in my business fleet, and the Duramax has been the most trouble free by far. My personal truck has a 6" Fabtech lift, 37" Goodyears on 17" rims, an Edge 95 hp controller, and the Kodiak electric steps like pictured above. I keep looking at new trucks (usually trade every year or two), but I can't find anything I would like any better, so I just keep mine!! I keep waiting for a Duramax suburban, but I'll probably DIE before those idiots build one!!!

I have a 99 F-250 chipped Powerstroke (160,000 Mi) and the only problem that I have is that I have to keep looking in the mirror to make sure the boat is still there! You guys with trouble must have the 6.0 ltr. I have heard nothing but trouble from those! I have the 7.3 Ltr.

nbeihl it's the 6.0 that has many issues. I drive one for work and it is in the shop almost every month. Has plenty of power when it's not broke.

That is a big boat. It makes the denali look like a mini cooper. Awesome setup. Does the denali tow it very well?

Well, I can't say that it does a great job, it's nothing like our diesel, but it handles it ok, I can cruise down the interstate 65-75 pretty well with out it hunting for gear, but once you get in the mountains it struggles a little bit. the thing I was most impressed with is the AWD and autoride, has fas as the ride is concerned you can barley tell it's back there, and in the mountains it handles the curves very well, and has plenty of braking power.

S DubSharp rig Tyler......do you think you could fit 22's on your truck after lowering? J-RodTyler, you lowered your 4X4? S Dub- Yah 22's would fit but you have to go with some smaller rubber, i'm running 275 right now. J-Rod- I live in the city and work downtown and I never do any offroading so it made sense to lower it, it still drives and handles the same.
