Looking at purchasing one of these boats.

or
MASTERCRAFT X-30

My buddy has a 22V and loves it. I would say it depends what you are looking for in a boat. The Tige's are known for being able to "tune" the wake, whereas, from my research the wake on the X-30 isn't adjustable, even with the stock ballast. If you are looking for space, the X-30 is a bit longer, but the Tige is a bit wider (beam) and has a deeper freeboard (depth). Just my thoughts, they are both great looking boats.

Pretty impressive that the president of a boat manufacturer would chime in on the boards to clarify posts. More impressive is that Rick wasn't posting to sell the boat.

Take each for a test drive, I will not buy another boat without one. Both companies make great boats, it will be the little things that sell you, personally I choose a MC but Tiges make a great product as well and I am glad I looked at them before my purchase
