VTX weight questions

Good buddy of mine has a VTX and we're working on weighting the hell out of it, but can't quite get the wake on it what we want. What is everybody doing for weight in theirs?
For example........
When we go nuts, have factory + 400's in the rear, 700 in the walkway, and a 650 integraed bow sac up front (on top of the seats). With wedge. All in all, right around 3400lbs + wedge. Sounds like we should have plenty of weight, but it's still not as big as we'd like it. Do we need to distribute it differently, or what should we be doing different? How do you guys run?

One of the issues with the VTX and the diamond hull is after a while you get into the law of diminishing returns. You can keep adding weight but the wake doesn't change much because that hull has just reached its wake making capabilities. My only suggestion would be swap the 400s in the back for 750s and see if that helps. I know my buddy Chris just put 750s in the back and the same bag up front. He has a 500 for the walkway. He is taking his boat out for the first time this season today so he can probably chime in later with how the wake is with that set up.

Once you push past 3000lbs on the VTX you run into the law of deminishing returns, you only have so much hull to push into the water. Sounds like you have too much weight up front and not enough in the back. You're running 1350 up front while only running 1200 in the back. More wieght up front will harden up the wake, but it won't make it much bigger. You need more wieght in the back, that will give you a larger wake. I'd only run the 650 in the bow, 500 in the center tank and then run 750's in the lockers on top of the tanks.

Too much up front.. I ran 750s in the rear, and a 550 in the walkway with another 300 in the bow and the wake was amazing.
