my boat cover is in fine shape, it is just a little dirty, since it has been parked outside the last couple years.

have any of you cleaned a boat cover? how did you do it?

I am mostly interested in hearing about people who did this at their house, as that would be my preferred method, but if the only thing that comes up is taking it to a laundrymat, I'll consider that as well.

Thanks!

I like to spread the cover out on the driveway and scrub with simple green (from concentrate...I go with a fairly strong mix) and broom. Does a good job getting dirt and grime out, and smells good too!

Has anyone ever had any problems with the cover not being as water proof once you wash it??? I need to wash mine too but I dont want it to lose its waterproofing.

Just spray some scotch guard on it.
