The UFC is going to air some of the best PRIDE fights in a UFC Unleashed fashion. Some consider PRIDE to be the most exciting days of MMA. Here is a preview w/ Chuck Liddell fighting in Japan. I am pumped for this show. Bring on the foot stomps.
...don't forget soccer style kicks or knees to downed opponents. If they show the highlights from his 28-0 run, this could bring in a whole new wave of Wanderlei Silva fans. Shrieking female asian announcers, over the top production value, rumored yakuza involvement, tournaments (including open weight), what's not to like (I guess if you're an Anderson Silva fan you don't like his loss in Pride)?
you mean his lossES right? Supposedly they are going to show some of Fedor's fights as well. That would be great, even thought its not UFC's style to show non-rostered fighters. In a commercial for the show I saw the infamous suplex from Randleman on him.
Tings, I watched the Randleman/Fedor fight on PPV the night of with some people who were indifferent to MMA...that night changed them. Between Fedor's robotic recovery from something that could paralyze (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2609598051531896141#) to Quinton Jackson's powerbomb of Ricardo Arona (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlguiYYObNY) it was an incredible night of fights. Flight, its on Friday nights, 1 hour program, unsure of time zone.
We want Fedor. I honestly think with Dos, Cane, Carwin, Mir, (Lesnar if healthy) that with Fedor we might see the same thing happen that happened to Crocop. As good as Fedor is, I really don't think he has truy been tested.
