Hey we have a two axle malibu trailer with brakes but recently we've had a problem. The brakes frequently seize up. Its not a problem when the boat is on the trailer but it makes driving and reversing an empty trailer much harder.

Anyone had the same problem or know how to help? Its definitely not grease cos it kept happening even after we had just greased the wheels.

i recently had to replace a a brake caliper on my boatmate trailer for our Moomba. one caliper was hanging up and would not retract to release the brake on that wheel. the other three calipers were all fine. but my problem was difficulty pulling the trailer under any conditions.

My buddy just went through this on his boatmate trailer. The lock out solenoid went out and had to be replaced.
